A Trendy Visit to the New York Library

With all honesty.. I'm not the one to devote himself to a "great" book or join a book club for the sake of reading and expanding my intellectual capacity. However, I appreciate and value clever architecture, love a place with character, history and feel, but above all - I'm a fashion aficionado!

A place in the city that embodies all of these characteristics, without doubt, is the famously claimed New York Public Library. Open to the public with free admission, you can experience a true voyage back in time. It also seemed to be a great place for locals to do their regular library shenanigans - you know, like devoting themselves to a "great" book. As a tourist or spectator, you will find yourself in one of the greatest places in New York. An enormous building full of story, all with an amazing fundamental ascetics and a immense responsibility to deliver an artistic experience - all at the same time!

With the intention to combine my two favorite things, architecture and street fashion, I decided to go for a photoshoot to the library. It was rainy day, which meant that my look had to be appropriate and the timing had to be perfect. I recommend visiting  early morning when less tourist are in the building and be prepared to spend at least one to two hours there. Take your time, take it all in, take pictures (without flash, of course) and be respectful to those that actually visit the library for its convectional use.

Visiting the New York Public Library will make you feel inspired and will be a great opportunity to appreciate the work of incredible artists. Step out of the tourist mentality and completely forget about Times Square, believe me, my pictures do no justice - experience it for yourself!
